Major update

Wow!! It has been entirely too long since I updated. I meant to update, I really did, but every time I sat down to do it I found something else to do. Not to mention I have barely even had time to sit down and write out an entire post. There are so many updates to my 101, that I'm not sure I can even get to them all, but I guess I will try. Especially since I know you all (1 or 2 people) are SO interested! HAHA!

Purchases #1, 3, 4, 6
I put all of these together, even though they should really be on their own. Most importantly #4!! I BOUGHT A HOUSE! I also purchased a living room set, bedroom set (KING BED!), and new down comforter all for the house. Next on the list is a new stove/microwave and hopefully and front loading washer/dryer. I can't even explain how excited I am about owning a house of my own. The FI and I spent this past weekend painting and this coming weekend we are getting our new furniture. Everything can't come fast enough. I want everything to be here and be living in the house already!!
As excited as I am about moving in, I'm also sad. Kino is leaving June 4 and will be gone until July 20. Which means that he won't actually get to be in the house before he leaves. Unfortunately, I'm not planning on moving until the middle of June because of the end of school and everything I can't fit the move in any earlier than that. :(

Financial #2, 6, 7
The first two are self explanatory. #7, was actually my stimulus check since I didn't get any money back for taxes. Either way, I used $100 on a new dress from BCBG (love it!) then I split the rest on house account and wedding account. I felt pretty proud of myself. It was hard, but I'm really glad that I did it. Not to mention on the first two I actually was able to make up 1/2 of what I spent on my puppy's broken leg. So that's an extra grand for house things that I wasn't going to have because of the medical bills.

Congratulations on the house!! You'll be in before you know it :-)
And you must be the most disciplined saver I know, hehe.
