I've got about 3 main goals that I'm really hoping I can accomplish this year. I don't feel like they are lofty or out of reach, and I'm not making a bunch of them. Just a few. Hopefully this will keep me on track. The thing is that many of these goals snowball into other things I'm looking to accomplish. This still should not hinder they're progress. If all goes right, it will be reaction to the action.
1. Lose the rest of my baby weigh.
Which means that I need get back into working out regularly. Be it walking, jogging, P90X, whatever. But it has to be something 3 or more times/week. Eating right would also help! :)
2. Use the Dave Ramsey cash system to budget our house hold.
This goes hand in hand with paying down some debt and building an e-fund. If the cash system works, we should be able to start making headway on some of those small debts. I'm not expecting to pay anything off this year, I just want to get into the right habits. I've started the cash envelopes for Dec-Jan (since I get paid at the end of the month) and we'll see where I need to make adjustments for next month. I've even made myself some fancy envelopes out of pretty paper.
3. Meal plan and coupon.
Which kind of goes a long with budgeting. We've already done one week of it and it should work if I can keep DH on board since he does most of the cooking. I'm trying to buy/plan meals that contain items that are on sale that week at HEB.

Thanks Allie! They were super easy and I'm really hoping it helps me. I've been too lax with my spending.
I already feel better knowing that I already have all the money I need for groceries and gas until my next paycheck. And, I've already caught myself trying to "get out of the house" and go shopping. But I can't because then I know I won't have any grocery/gas money!
