This past weekend my brother and I made the trip out to visit my in-laws for a baby shower, Easter celebration, and an engage. (I know, all that in two days!) And before you ask I was forced to drag my brother- even though he enjoyed it- because they didn't want me making the 4 hour drive alone. So... on the way down there and about 10-15 miles south of San Antonio we saw the largest field of bluebonnets that I've ever seen. It was gorgeous! We made a mental note to stop on the way home since it was on the opposite side of the highway. Well, we did and here are some pictures, and to be honest, these don't even do it justice. It was so beautiful and expansive. Not to mention the smell was so sweet. Gawh, I love Texas!!
I love this one because even though it's focused on the fence, you can see the sea of blue haze behind it. That's pretty much what the whole field looked like. Just a huge sea of blue.

Wow! So pretty! I miss those. My mom gave me some bb seeds to plant in august, so we'll see if they come up in colorado next year.
