Done!

Painting the nursery, that is. DH finished the touch ups today and I have to say, I LOVE the color. I'm not even really a purple person, although it's starting to grow on me. The color actually turned out lighter than I was expecting, which is fine by me!


This is the crib side wall...


Yesterday I ordered the wall decal that will be spanning this wall. It should be here by the end of the week to early next week! The seeds will be floating over the crib.



It's starting to come together! The crib will hopefully be ordered (or picked up if it's in stock) some time next week or the week after. I also ordered my closet organization system from Walmart, which will be arriving at the store (free shipping!) sometime this week/early next week. Hopefully that can be installed sometime in February. And lastly, the chest of drawers will probably be in by the end of the month.

Ugh, I can't wait!! I'm in full nesting mode and I've got tons of hand-me-down clothes that keep calling my name to be hung up and put away. I love organization so much that I seriously daydream of when I have the room all set up "just so" and everything has it's place. I already walk into the room every day and just stare at the color. I can't imagine how many times I'll walk in after it's all completed.

My goal is to have everything ready to go by March 12, my first shower, which is going to be held at my house. I know everyone will want to see the nursery and I want it to be as complete as possible. Obviously some things will be missing since I'm registering for a lot of it, but furniture and decor wise it WILL be done!
