Home changes

Nothing big, mostly just organizing and hanging. I can't afford to actually BUY anything right now so it's all about doing thing with what we've got. Sorry for the weird yellowy tint to all the pictures. The lighting in this house is horrendous. My dad is an electrician, and as soon as I get my new home owners tax credit I will be upgrading and adding a lot of lighting... excited!




Breakfast area. We were able to purchase the breakfast table with part of the money we received as wedding presents. Next will be a dining room table.





Fireplace and mantel area. My brother gave me the large decorative plate. I can't really figure out what I really want to do here?




Closet Re-organize. I heart my baskets and color coded closet! Some day I'll have a professional come and put in some cabinets and storage system to expand the little space we have.

Master bathroom clean up. I took everything off the counters added some decorative glass vases and some mirrored shelves. I'm having a hard time finding things to add color into the bathroom. My major upgrade here will be separate vanities, mirrors, and light fixtures. I'll also add a walk in shower and possibly get rid of the tub. If I decide not to get rid of the tub then I'll push the wall out a few feet, get a corner tub and still do the walk in shower.


















Guest bathroom. We got the shower curtain for a wedding gift. I bought the brown towels and added a few natural rocks to add a more natural "spa-ish" feel.
