Finally home

After a week of traveling, I'm finally home!! It actually felt a little weird the first night back and a lot like my first few nights at the house. But, alas, I am home and back into the swing of things. It has taken me a few days to unpack, wash the clothes, and all of that. I still have to do the dishes... bleh!

My birthday was great and I'm so glad I got to spend it with my best friend. When I got back on Sunday we had a dinner at my brother's to celebrate my birthday and that was really nice to get to see everyone.

Over all, Las Vegas was fun but too over whelming. Both Sara and I agree that we both needed and wanted to go, but would probably not go back. I think we both enjoy more secluded and quiet vacations... note to self, plan a beach vacation next time. We got a chance to visit most of the "big" casinos, and even got a self instructed tour of the less populated areas around the strip, i.e scary areas. It was hot. It was crowded. And my feet still hurt like a bitch! The thing I liked the most was going to see Cirque Du Soleil at Treasure Island! It was amazing and I highly recommend you go see a show where ever you can.

I have posted pictures on my Flickr account, all though, I didn't take too many. BUT, I did want to post the best picture of all! My purchase made on my birthday in Vegas, courtesy of my mom :) Tee Hee!! They were going to be my present to myself, but my mom offered them as my bday present. Thanks mom!

Choooooooooos!! So pretty! I agree about Vegas...fun to go once, but there's too much going on there! Did you win any wedding money?

No... I didn't. I really didn't gamble but about 15 dollars on slots. Gambling just isn't my thing. I'm sure if I had actually won some money at any point I would have kept playing, but I was getting bummed that I didn't win anything.
